Unfiltered Conversations
This blog was born when I turned 60. Retirement was getting closer, and while I still wanted to stay active, I knew it was time to do things I truly enjoy.
I decided to travel at my own pace and discovered that learning to live with solitude can also be an extreme sport. After more than 30 years as a couple, learning to live for myself again brought fear, anxiety… and unexpected laughter when I least expected it.
I’ve learned to take care of myself, both physically and emotionally: moving my body, nourishing myself well, reflecting, and enjoying small rituals that keep me balanced. Technology walks alongside me—not only to plan trips, but to stay connected with the world, share experiences, and keep close to the people I love, even when they are far away.
I’ve made mistakes, asked for forgiveness, and received kindness where I least expected it. I’ve also faced indifference—but I survived. I cried, I got lost, and above all, I found myself again.
Today, I live life my own way: with curiosity, humor, and a desire to keep exploring. I look for the girl I once was and share my travels, stories, lessons, and the tools that help me take care of myself. Because if we don’t find and care for ourselves, who will?
